VIP's Authoring System has been designed with the end-user in mind. It is a flexible authoring system that is easy to customize and create asynchronous web based learning solutions that can also be CD ROM based.

With the VIP Authoring System and the Learning Management System (VIP-LMS™) you spend less time training, less money traveling, and more time developing your employees. This user friendly tool serves as VIP's learning and tracking system. This solution is a combination of VIP's instructional design and adult learning methodology, serving as the learning platform for any VIP independent or blended training curriculum.

The VIP Authoring System meets the Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC) standards and allows the construction of complex structured courses. Each course is built in modules or chapters, with lessons and reinforcing exercises that are measured by the VIP-LMS™ tracking system. These are the characteristics of our system:

1. The sequence of the course is linear. Arrows allow the user to advance forward through the screens or return to a prior screen, the table of contents has a sliding bar that moves up or down to allow users who are familiar with a specific chapter or module, to skip them and go to the "Test your knowledge" section directly.
   
2. If the option with sound is purchased, the users may read and listen to the lessons simultaneously. Otherwise, they may suppress the sound by clicking on the sound icon. They can also re-play the sound by pausing and playing it again.
   
   
3. The navigation screen is fairly easy to use. It is the effort of professional designers using state-of-the-art technology. The look and feel can be customized to fit your company's logo and color scheme.
   
4. This feature is optional and linear. The users can visually see how advance into the course they are by seeing check marks on the table of contents.
   
5. Simulations are a very important part of a course and when using screen shots the resolution is set to a determined size, not allowing the user to resize the screen to fit their needs. One feature that sets this system apart from its competitors is that VIP's courses may be adjusted to any screen size without affecting the resolution.
   
   
   
   
6. Buttons throughout the courses are color coded for easy identification.
   
   
   
   
   
7. At the end of each chapter or module, the users are allowed to test their knowledge and review their progress of acquired concepts and skills. This is done through the "test your knowledge" section. This section is divided in two parts: exercises and module test. The exercises have fun activities like games and simulations where the users can practice until they feel they have acquired the information necessary to link to the module tests to be certified.
   
   
   
8. The table of content for the course can be customized to cover as many chapters or modules as necessary.
