Safety & Security Policies
For Internal & External Compliance
From: Sonia Clayton, CEO / President of Virtual Intelligence Providers, LLC (VIP)
To: All Personnel (Employees, Contractors, Sub-contractors, Vendors, Providers),
whether temporal or permanent
The following considerations are, as of this time, added onto any other previous
contractual or organizational Safety and Security policies, and therefore considered
binding, or essential for continuation of employment, or extension of project work and
similar contractual engagements with or through VIP.
- Non-compliance, non-acceptance or negligent interpretation and execution of
the following, or any other previous documentary references, as received by
VIP’s Employees, Contractors, Sub-contractors, Vendors, Providers or similar,
whether temporal or permanent, and expressed in executed or validly
received/accepted Agreements, Contracts, Policy Manuals, memoranda or the
like, concerning the thorough observance and application of VIP’s Safety and
Security Policies, or those of our Clients and/or Affiliates, shall constitute
immediate and automatic basis for dismissal of any non-compliant party or
resource.
- Apparent absence of appropriate or relevant information, willful ignorance, even
open disregard of Safety and Security policies, either of VIP’s or its
clients/affiliates, by any individual, does not excuse nor absolve them from fault,
or disciplinary action regarding this important matter.
- It is always been our standard policy to conduct permanently our professional or
technical activities in a manner that protects thoroughly the safety, and security,
of our own personnel and that of all of our clients or their affiliates, including
their resources at large. VIP is committed at all times to prevent all accidents,
injuries and occupational illnesses, as well as any security violations or breaches,
through individual and situational awareness, all of which binds us to
participation, active compliance or observance of any and all rules, norms,
standards or regulations, corporate or governmental, intended to protect the
businesses, organizations and physical integrity of resources and equipment of
any entity with which we conduct professional or technical activities. Thus,
Virtual Intelligence Providers, LLC, and by extension all of its personnel, is
committed uninterruptedly to timely prevent, identify, eliminate or manage any
safety and security violations, breaches, infringement or the like, as associated
with its activities—or those of our clients.
- In summary, all VIP personnel or resources will:
- Assist, help or otherwise participate in the design, maintenance,
establishment or management of security and/or safety systems, the
training and conduct of operations thereof, or any other program,
measure or device intended to safeguard people, facilities, equipment
and property
- Respond quickly, effectively, diligently and carefully to emergencies,
accidents, security incidents or similar scenarios, in cooperation with
business or organizational leaders, industry organizations and authorized
government agencies
- Comply with all applicable Safety and Security laws, rules, standards,
norms or regulations, and apply them responsibly, even where they may
not exist
- Cooperate with government agencies and others to develop
comprehensive legislation, regulations, and standards based on valid
scientific, technical or law-enforcement considerations of risk
- Conduct and support research to promote the knowledge and continuous
monitoring of safety effects of operations, and the prompt application of
relevant findings and, as appropriate, the creation of a permanent matrix
of awareness among employees, contractors, vendors, government
agencies, and other concerned or affected parties
- Emphasize to all employees, contractors, vendors and others working on
VIP’s behalf, their responsibility and accountability for a safe and secure
performance of activities, fostering always safe and secure behaviors and
practices
- Participate in, and apply any appropriate, conclusions, reviews and
evaluations of operations to measure progress and encourage
compliance with all aspects of VIP’s, or its clients’, Safety and Security
procedures, norms, rules or related expectations.
